The railroad was built during the First World War to support the war effort, which explains its "bric-a-brac" appearance. As one of the country's oldest railroads, it is now listed as a historic monument. It's a joy to ride in an old locomotive, from Płociczno to Krusznik over a distance of 10 km through the forest of the Wigry Nature Park. Beautiful scenery and a fun journey on board.
