Ex hacienda founded for the extraction of silver, gold and iron where you can visit the bowels of the earth for a distance of 300 meters.
Thehacienda El Triangulo, with its architecturally varied buildings, was founded by the French in the late 19th century to extract silver, gold and iron. It was abandoned in 1923 when all its tunnels, and those of the nearby Angustias mine, were accidentally flooded. At the end of the 19th century, the Angustias mine employed more than 1,000 people who worked there continuously: even today, it is still possible to penetrate the bowels of the Earth over a distance of 300 metres (around 30 minutes).
