MUSEU DE MONTMELÓ
Museum dedicated to the history of Montmeló with a permanent exhibition with large explanatory panels
Located in the stately home of Can Caballé, the town museum is dedicated to the history of Montmeló, from the Neolithic to the Iberian era, passing through the Roman period and then the Middle Ages. The permanent exhibition is made up of large explanatory panels (in Catalan) and archaeological objects found in the area. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to the mural paintings of the first Pompeian style - characterized by its illusionist effects - discovered at the archaeological site of Mons Observans. On occasion, the museum also concocts workshops open to the public.
