PARC PREHISTÒRIC DE LES COVES DEL TOLL
These four magnificent caves were home to the men of the region during Prehistory and up to the Bronze Age.
These four prehistoric caves were dug by the action of a torrent in the limestone rock of a coral reef more than 38 million years old. In addition to the geological interest of these galleries, which extend almost 1,150 m underground, the Toll Cave, the most beautiful and richest of the whole, is one of the most abundant prehistoric European sites in terms of Quaternary fauna. Numerous remains also bear witness to human occupation up to the Bronze Age.
