MUSEU EPISCOPAL DE VIC
Episcopal Museum of Vic next to the cathedral offering an instructive visit to see the Romanesque and Gothic collections
This episcopal museum is one of the most important in Europe for the richness of its collections, with nearly 30,000 works, devoted in particular to Romanesque and Gothic art. Founded in 1891, it is now housed in a modern building next to the cathedral. It has sections devoted to goldsmiths, archaeologists, blacksmiths, leatherworkers, glassmakers and ceramists. An instructive visit to an institution that for over a hundred years has pursued its mission of conservation, study and exhibition of its exceptionally valuable collections.
