FOUNDATION APEL-LES FENOSA
Building with a Mediterranean garden, housing sculptures in terracotta and plaster, and a collection of monumental bronzes
The famous sculptor Apel-les Fenosa (Barcelona, 1899-Paris, 1988) is honored in his summer residence/workshop in El Vendrell: the beautifully restored sixteenth-century building with its Mediterranean garden houses sculptures in terracotta and plaster as well as a collection of monumental bronzes. Celebrated by Picasso but also by the most famous poets of his time, the hundreds of pieces he left behind are an invitation to contemplation and reflection.
