EL ROC DE SANT GAIETÀ
A peaceful and picturesque residential area of Roda de Bera, a surprising and not so pastiche tourist attraction
It is a peaceful and picturesque residential area of Roda de Berà built between 1964 and 1972 by the architects Gaietà Bori Tallada, René Vandemeuter and Pere Suredat. In addition to its fisherman's quarter atmosphere, the originality of the place comes from the mixture of styles of the buildings already present (Romanesque, Gothic, Moorish) with elements imitating the architecture of different parts of Spain or Europe (Andalusian and Galician patios, granaries of Sardinian houses, etc.). A surprising and not so pastiche tourist attraction!
