PARISH CHURCH OF SANT JAUME
Creixell's parish church in the center of the casc antic which combines baroque and Renaissance elements
The parish church of Creixell, in the center of the old town, dates from the 16th century (it was inaugurated in 1559 to be precise) and, although it is essentially Gothic, it combines Baroque and Renaissance elements, as in the case of the façade and the triangular pediment supported by the pilasters of the main entrance. As a point of honor to the architectural evolution, we appreciate the modernist dome of the bell tower, designed by the architect Josep M. Jujol i Gibert.
