COOPERATIVE WINE CELLAR - CELLER NOUCENTISTA
Wine cellar built in 1919-1920, designed to allow wine growers to centralize their production.
Designed by the architect Pere Domènech i Roura and built between 1919 and 1920, this large rectangular building with three naves is a cooperative wine cellar designed to allow winegrowers to centralize their production while benefiting from common facilities. The Agricultural Union of Vila-Seca was founded three years before the construction of the winery, in 1917. Although this cathedral of wine is no longer in use, it is worth a visit.
