The river Llastres meets the Mediterranean Sea at the Punta del Riu beach, right next to the marina. A typical wetland of the region, from the footbridge that spans the river you can see beautiful varieties of plants such as tamarind or rushes emerging from a small lagoon that is home to an endangered fish, the Spanish Aphanius. To find it, just go up the coast in the direction of Miami Platja (north).
