BEACHES
Large and uncrowded sandy beach with calm and shallow water suitable for children to swim in Deltebre
In addition to the following beaches, all located on the northern side of the delta, we should mention the long and beautiful beach of Trabucador(Platja del Trabucador), which stretches divinely to the south of the delta, itself an extension of the beach of Serrallo (Platja del Serrallo) and the beach of the Eucalyptus (Platja Eucaliptus)
The beach of Riumar extends north of the mouth of the Ebro, facing the urbanization Riumar. It is a wide sandy beach (1,100 km) with calm and shallow water suitable for children to swim. It is large and not very crowded. In winter and on windy days, kite-surfing enthusiasts can enjoy the thrill of kite-surfing (kite-surfing school and equipment rental on site). Several entrances are possible. Chiringuitos
to eat on site. The beach is supervised from mid-June to mid-September, from 10 am to 7 pm.In its extension,
the beach of the Bassa d'Arena, wilder, is not supervised. One area of the beach is reserved for dog walking, another for fishing. Accessible from the beach of Riumar or from the road that leads to the beach. A nudist area is also accessible from Marquesa Beach.Hidden behind the fine sand dunes, La Marquesa beach reveals vast, unspoiled expanses. Then comes Punta del Fangar beach and its semi-desert landscape which offers superb wild and quiet stretches, nesting area for hundreds of bird species. An exotic site!
