CANELLE SOURCES
Spring called the fonts de les canelles or spring of the sewers, located in Santa Coloma de Queralt
The source of the accounts, whose fountains date back to 1614, is popularly called " Les Fonts de les Canelles", in other words "the source of the Sewers". Until the 1970s, the population of the city came to these fountains to drink and wash. Not far from the spring, the remains of an Iberian village were discovered in 1935. The water delivered by these fountains is that of the Gaià river, which itself takes its source in the Gubià. Note the image of Santa Coloma inlaid in the main wall.
