LA GIRALDA
Neo-Arabic inspired building located on the outskirts of the city that was commissioned by Joan Roquer i Mari in L'Arboç
Located on the outskirts of the city, this neo-Arabic inspired building was commissioned by Joan Roquer i Marí as a gift for his wife after he returned from a trip to Andalusia, and he himself supervised the work between 1877 and 1889. The silhouette of the Giralda is a half-scale reproduction of the famous minaret of Seville, and inside the mansion is an approximate version of the courtyard of the Alhambra of Granada. The building was restored from 2004 to 2008. Ask at the tourist office to arrange a visit.
