Hermitage built by Capuchin monks, surrounded by powerful rocks in Cornudella de Montsant
Built by Capuchin monks at the end of the 15th century, this hermitage has the particularity of being surrounded by powerful rocks. The chapel has been home to hermits for several centuries and is still inhabited today by a hermit responsible for the maintenance of the building. In all, no less than three religious holidays are celebrated here: San Juan (Saint John), San Juan Decapitado (Saint John the Beheaded) and San Antonio (Saint Anthony).
