FRAGUERAU CANYON
One of the most emblematic places of the park, its name comes from a medieval anchorite in Ulldemolins
This gorge - called Fraguerau Canyon - is perhaps one of the most emblematic places in the park: here, the Montsant River tries to make its way between powerful rocks smoothed by time and water, with rounded shapes. Its name comes from a medieval anchorite who lived not far from the place. You can get there by following the footpath passing by the chapels of Sant Antoni and Santa Magdalena. The canyon itself begins at the place called Les Cadolles Fondes. A nice walk.
