Hermitage in a splendid natural setting, known in town for being a spectacular viewpoint in Falset

This hermitage is located 1 km from the center of Falset in a splendid natural setting. The chapel was built under a rocky shelter of red sandstone with rounded shapes. The place is known in town for being a spectacular viewpoint at sunset. The present building dates from 1927, the original having been destroyed by a rock fall, and there is a picnic area at the foot of the chapel. The walk to the chapel is quite pleasant and the hermitage is also an interesting starting point to discover the surroundings on foot.
