SANT JAUME CHURCH
Parish church with a combination of architectural styles characteristic of the 13th and 19th centuries in Tivissa
The parish church of Sant Jaume presents a combination of styles developed between the 13th and 19th centuries, which is worth a look. It has the peculiarity of being divided into three parts - the old church, the chapel of the rosary and the new church - the remains of the old Gothic church, inside the building, still being perfectly visible today. The Renaissance-style Rosary Chapel was added to the building at the beginning of the 18th century, in order to preserve the architectural elements of the old church.
