SANT SALVADOR CONVENT
Gothic style church, with access from the Picasso center in Horta de Sant Joan
As early as the 13th century, the Knights Templar built a Gothic-style church on this exceptional site, although some elements of the present church were added by the Hospitallers. In 1543, the Franciscans founded the convent of Santa Maria dels Àngels, where Salvador Pladevall lived for almost 12 years before giving his name to the complex.
How to get there. From the Picasso Center, go down Carrer de l'Hospital on the right, then Raval del Àngels until you reach Carrer de la Bassa del Mur, which leaves the city, and then take the second right.
