Mountain refuge with catering service and free wifi, for a pleasant stay in Alfara.

About twenty kilometers from Tortosa, this refuge guarded in the middle of nature, located at an altitude of 1,090 meters, has 32 beds divided into 4 rooms (wooden beds, blankets and pillows on site), toilets, hot showers, a catering service, a shared lounge and free Wifi access. Practical: you can book a cab, rent a bike or a mountain guide service on site, for an optimized visit of the natural park! Note that it is recommended to book before your arrival. Breakfasts, meals and picnics.

Buena ubicación para montañeros, ciclistas y espeleólogos. Instalaciones actualizadas y muy buena cocina, con atención personal cordial.
Muy recomendable. Sitio tranquilo donde reponer fuerzas y descansar con silencio ambiental.

L'únic punt de millora pel meu gust és la qualitat del esmorzar. Si fos com la del sopar seria un refugi de 10.

Hola. Feiem Estels del Sud Nord. Tot perfecte tant a Paüls, Arnes com al Refugi de Caro Estels del Sud. Pero penso que a Refugi de Caro Estels del Sud haguessin pogut avisar que hi havia previssio de vent fort en la ruta de Caro a Paüls. El vent et tirava a terra. Dels 7 que varem sortir del refugi nomes 2 varen passar el pas amb vent i els 5 restants varen tornar a Caro. Ens varem truobar una parella que havien trucat a Caro i els havien dit que l’endema faria molt vent. No hagues costat gaire que al refugi havisessin de que l’endema hi havia previssio de vent molt fort i que hi havia una ruta alternativa. Espero que ho avissin a altres muntanyencs en el futur.
