MUSEUM OF THE PALM
Museum that promotes the ethnological heritage of the region and organizes workshops where the palm is worked
The handicraft and marketing of woven palm objects dates back to time immemorial in these lands. The traditional pieces are made from dwarf palm leaves. The Pauma Museum is dedicated to promoting the ethnological heritage of the region: the permanent exhibition shows tools, objects and photographs of this ancestral craft. The museum organizes workshops where the palm (but also other types of fibers) is worked, demonstrations, temporary exhibitions and other events.
