CA LA VILA - BATEA CITY HALL
Building that today is the seat of the City Council, and that once marked the entrance to the city in Batea
This medieval building, now the seat of the city council, once marked the entrance to the city. Its architecture preserves, in its lower part, interesting Gothic arcades from the 13th and 14th centuries. In the following century, visitors had to pass through the porch of the Ca La Vila - and merchants had to weigh their goods - before entering the city. On the first floor of the building is the Batea tourist information point.
