We (two couples) spent 6 days at the Nature Resort in Bermudian Landing in March, 2024. While we were there Roy and his team provided breakfast and dinner each day, the food consisted of local cuisine and was very tasty. The cabanas were clean and comfortable. Prior to our trip we arranged a number of outings through Roy, trips to Altun Ha, Lamanai, a tour of the local communities, a trip to the Baboon Sanctuary and a walk to see the howler monkeys, a canoe ride on the river and a night nature walk. The guides Roy arranged were all very knowledgeable and informative, and made the outings interesting and fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Nature Resort and would highly recommend to anyone considering.

We stayed at the nature resort for two nights. It's situated between the jungle and the river in a small village. Very convenient for visiting the Community Baboon Sanctuary, which is just at the entrance to the Nature Resort. The welcome was perfect and the person in charge of the resort is adorable! She's also the cook and it's excellent! One of the best meals we've had in Belize.
The place is perfect for relaxing surrounded by the scream of the Howler Monkeys (but don't worry, we don't hear them much at night).

Great place to stay, breakfast and dinner were amazing. You have to try this place out.

This is the most convenient lodge in the jungle to BZE. Roy, the owner, is just wonderful and you can tell he cares a lot about the clients who stay there. The cabin was comfy and clean. The hiking/walking was relaxing and there was lots of wildlife, birds, and flowers/plants to explore. I can't wait to go back. I did the morning canoe down the Belize River and the Howler Monkey Sanctuary (which I included photos of in this review)

Located in a beautiful spot just behind the community baboon sanctuary. A lovely peaceful place with cabana rooms and a nice restaurant. Roy, the owner, was great as was Kathy who looked after us for our whole stay. Roy organised a early morning canoe river tour for us which is thoroughly recommended. Special thanks to Kade… we had a real laugh. Just a one hour bus ride from Belize city to Bermudian landing (the bus stops right outside the resort) you shouldn’t miss this place

We stayed two nights, the food and hospitality were amazing. We also booked the night time crocodile canoe trip, zip lining, and cave tubing. Can’t wait to return!

Really loved our stay here - awesome to be right by the Community Baboon Sanctuary (Dwayne was a great guide) and the beds were so comfortable. Plus, the cabanas have air conditioning which was so incredibly helpful as we transitioned to the Belizean climate. Highly recommend!

The Nature Resort is an adorable gem attached to the Community Baboon Sanctuary. The people here are absolutely amazing and inspiring. They have essentially restored the Black Howler Monkey population in Belize, but they have an abundance of monkeys at the sanctuary, and anyone who works here will be glad to take you into the forest to see them. Our "hike" (more like a walk, not rough terrain at all) only lasted about an hour but we saw and heard Black Howler Monkeys, a toucan, iguanas, tons of bird species and leaf cutter ants. The Resort itself is so beautiful and nice, with A/C and showers and mini fridges in the rooms. As nice as most hotels, but the money you spend here goes right back into the community and saving the monkeys. Highly recommend visiting if you are in Belize!

My son and I loved our experience staying at the Nature Resort. This is a family run small resort. The owner/host Roy is a lovely person, very kind and modest. It is a family run location with meals, tours and other activities run by the family. Our room itself was very nice. The price was incredibly fair. The grounds were beautiful and one day the howler monkeys were in the big trees right on the resort ground. We went on tours Roy arranged to see the crocodiles at night in a nearby marsh/river. The community baboon center is right next door and we got a guided walk and saw the howler monkeys up close. The dinners at nature resort were especially excellent. Be aware, Nature Resort is in an area without other stores, restaurants or amenities. This is a solid, quality spot for travelers who don't need luxury but love nature.

Sehr liebenswürdige Menschen dort. Sehr gepflegter Garten. Ein absolut ruhiger Ort- nur die Brüllaffen und Vögel hört man.

This is a jungle and nature experience you don’t just get anywhere. Roy and his crew will take care of any l thing you need including transportation to and from the airport and to and from any excursions. Roy will set you up with the best guides. So book all excursions through him.

Take the kids or stay as couples. The nature resort is the ultimate jungle experience!

Did I mention the food was amazing? It is. Breakfast and lunch made just like a family member would!

Stay as long as you can. You won’t be disappointed. The cave tours. The ruins. Or the zip lining was our favorite.

Roy will take care of you!

We went there like everybody for the monkeys. When we asked for the service we were treated like kings. When we found out that the night tour was just a bit further outside the village, the monkey tour was just a touristic (but nice) tourist traps the behavior changed a lot. The place is beautiful, the house were clean despite no hot water and no WiFi reaching our accomodation. Food was alright, definitely not worth the 20 USD per person, as you can have the same down the village for about 12 belizean dollars. I wish the nature resort was more indépendant from the monkey reserve and not trying to sell you as much as possible...

Nature Resort was very peaceful, relaxing, and had great options for things to do. We went into the jungle and saw howler monkeys, birds, and went on a river tour in canoes where we saw alot more wildlife. We learned so much about the area and the history. Dr. Roy was very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. He blessed us with some wonderful home cooked meals and even some folklore! Be sure to ask about Anansi Spider and Broad Tiger during your stay.

Very nice place, 30 min drive from airport. Wonderfully remote amd quiet. The little cabanas are clean, fresh, very good ac. Bathrooms all work fine. There was lizards and little agouti mammals running around our porch in the morning. Lots of birds and cool jungle noises. The owner was nice and friendly. We got a small breakfast of fruit in the morning. I would absolutely come back here or recommend someone else to.
