We had a fantastic indoor ride with the kids in the middle of a very cold day- and the kids had an absolute blast. They learned a lot about Icelandic ponies, got to prepare them for a ride, and then were lead around the indoor arena. Smiles all around and a massive thank you to the team at the horse center!

Vielen Dank! :)

100% a top find for us… my 4 year old boy loves horses but most places seem to cater for over 10s.
Emailed the centre to book on…they replied the same day.. My boy groomed, went for guided horse ride, gave the horse treats.
We all loved it.
Alexandra - our guide - was exceptional… fantastic manner with my boy… ????

Thank you for an outstanding experience ????????????

Hoi Sigga.
Thank you for the great time with you and the Dansk Girls on the farm. For those who want to learn anything about Iceland horses and much more, the place to be in Iceland.
For those who have time after riding, as we did, enjoy the coffee and chocolate and learn to appreciate the local culture and who want can pet Jonny Cash.
Sigrídur speaks English, Icelandic and German fluently.
The recommendation!

A wonderful, family-run yet extremely professional place. Our trip was a bit last-minute; I saw this place on Google maps, and thought it would be the perfect place to stay and ride with my young daughters if I was lucky enough for them to have an opening—and they did!

The cottage was warm, clean, cozy and fully outfitted. Waking up to horses outside our window was a treat!

We all loved the stable tour — getting to meet prized show horses, ask lots of questions of the expert trainer, and the girls loved helping to brush the horses.

The ride was their favorite thing in Iceland! The weather was rough and we were so lucky that they have an indoor arena.

Thank you so much for taking us in on short notice!!

Experienced, patient instructors and lovely horses. Since they aren’t so many hands tall as some breeds, the Icelandic horses are perfect for people that don’t like heights, and their calm nature is ideal for beginners too. My daughter had a great time! She also bought a bracelet so she can see and remember the movement of different gaits. We also stayed at the guesthouse which was so peaceful. You may even be greeted by a friendly dog.
