Pa.te.os is a project by Portuguese architect Manuel Aires Mateus: four raw concrete houses stand out against the arid backdrop of the road between Melides and Grândola. Airy spaces, hand-crafted concrete, wide openings for admiring the landscape... The architecture of the lodges is accompanied by a minimalist, luxurious interior and a maze of patios. Here, spaces interact in a natural symbiosis, to create a contemporary ensemble that offers a new way of living, or staying, in this unique region.
