CAPO PALINURO
Cape stretching into the Tyrrhenian Sea, boat trips offered to discover caves
The limestone promontory stretches for 2 km into the Tyrrhenian Sea, delimiting the Gulf of Palinuro. Boat trips allow you to admire its creeks and impressive cliffs with caves. Among these, the Grotta Azzurra which, like its counterpart in Capri, owes its bluish atmosphere to the refraction of sunlight penetrating the water. In the protected pine forest that covers the cape, there are paths with beautiful views of the Cilento coast: access from the port of Palinuro or from via Faro.
