Hamlet with a view of the green mountains with a well-preserved Romanesque church
The hamlet of Sant Sebastià de Montmajor, made up of a few buildings bordering the mountains, has an 11th-century Romanesque church that is in a good state of preservation. Enjoy the silence and the view of the green mountains! The church was designed according to a Latin cross plan consisting of a single nave ending in a square chevet flanked by two semicircular apsidioles. Inside, take a look at the Renaissance altarpiece and the series of frescoes that cover the apse. They were painted by Antoni Vila Arrufat from 1945 onwards. In the former presbytery, a restaurant serving Catalan specialities has installed its kitchens
