LEFEBVRE MONUMENT
This imposing green sandstone building has been home to a national historic site of Acadian culture since 1994. His foundations date back to the 1897 th century, in, the date of his inauguration in honour of Father Camille Lefebvre, founder of Collège Saint-Joseph (first Francophone University in New Brunswick). The classrooms, closed in 1972, gave way to a cultural interpretation centre where a permanent interactive exhibition, the Acadian Odyssey, invites the public to dive into the Acadian history of yesterday and today. A theatre hosts many Acadian events: concerts, debates, projections and all kinds of gatherings for the Acadian people. A great pride for the community.
