BELLIVEAU ORCHARD ORCHARD
Orchard Belliveau Orchard is part of New Brunswick's heritage. Founded around 1900 by Sébastien Belliveau on the fertile land along the river Petitcobdiac, this garden planted with apple trees will then be exploited by the clergy between 1960 and 1950 before being bought by an employee, Louis Bourgeois, in 1967. Since then, some 70 000 apple trees have grown in this orchard. Several activities are proposed to the public: guided tours by car from a tractor to discover the plantation, packing plant and secrets of apple apple (apple varieties, pollination, culture techniques…); self-collection at the time of harvest between September and October or to make its market of local products in the shop of the site (cider, wine…). Since 2006, the orchard has officially received the name "ecomuseum".
