HUNTING TOWER
Ancient hunting tower in ruins on Kantya hill overlooking Delwara, its palace and the Aravalli hills
This ruined old hunting tower is located on Kantya Hill, better known locally as Aodhi. Built by King Jasvansingh, it served as a watchtower for him to hunt the game that his forest rangers would bring down in his direction. It takes about 30 minutes to walk along a path that runs along temple ruins before reaching the top of the hill. From there, the view of Delwara, its palace and the Aravalli hills is splendid. But be careful, the walk is done in the open, better to avoid the hot hours.
