LODHA MOHALLA
Neighborhood behind the Hanuman temple, filled with typical old havelis emblematic of the work of the region's artisans
This district hidden behind the Hanuman temple is full of ancient havelis typical of Rajasthan and emblematic of the work of the craftsmen of the region. You will notice the lintels supported by horse-shaped todas. The triple gokhlas (niches) on the facades are also typical of the havelis of Lodha Mohalla. Rather deserted, the neighbourhood allows you to wander around without being disturbed. A sign in the main square, at the foot of a large tree, tells you that you are at the right port. This is where you will find the Sadhna shop and workshop.
