MEMORIAL 40-45 KAPELLE
Museum with an impressive collection of uniforms, helmets, weapons and medals from the Second World War
This museum is the work of two enthusiasts: Minus Goud de Krabbendijke and Andries Looijen, who have assembled an impressive collection of World War II uniforms, helmets, weapons and medals. Open since 2012, the museum also includes many French objects in memory of the servicemen who died here in 1940. The collection is presented chronologically. In mid-May, the site offers a full program of events, including the visit of tanks and war vehicles during the remembrance ceremony at the Kapelle cemetery.
