HOOP MILL
This beautiful mill built in 1866, includes two pairs of millstones and wheels of almost 22 meters long
A lovely mill built in 1866 and in operation until 1968, when it was narrowly prevented from being converted into housing. It is sometimes operated by a volunteer miller. It is the counterpart of the other mill, named Aeolus. It underwent a complete restoration between 1981 and 1983. It is a flour mill owned by the municipality of Kapelle. It features two pairs of millstones and wheels almost 22 meters long! The photogenic nature of the building and its backdrop, the town's harbor, enhance the beauty of the site.
