Located just across the road from the idyllic Jiquilillo beach, this small, eco-friendly hotel (working in a community tourism spirit with the village's inhabitants) is a good base from which to visit the surrounding area. Their Puentes de Esperanza association also offers volunteer missions for those wishing to stay longer and take an active part in projects with young people in the community (English courses, arts, environment...). Their website is a goldmine for finding out more about the region (in Spanish and English).
