GRANADELLA TOWER
Rectangular tower that today has a modern chapel dedicated to Saint Mark in Camarles
Declared an asset of cultural interest, this 16-meter-high rectangular tower was first mentioned in historical documents in 1153. Built in medieval times, the Granadella tower now has a modern chapel dedicated to Saint Mark. Some loopholes and small windows can be seen in the upper part of the wall. The tower can be seen from the outside, as the interior is closed to the public, during a short walk through the center of Camarles.
