WIRTSHAUS ZUM FEGERER
A nice restaurant in a half-timbered house in the old town of Aschaffenburg: Franconian cuisine and German wines.
For more than 30 years, the Zum Fegerer restaurant has been serving fine Franconian cuisine, with meat and vegetarian dishes (homemade ravioli, for example), created with seasonal produce (a changing menu) and an extensive German wine list (mainly Franconian and Rhenish). The ambience is charming and has something of a Biedermeier interior, provincial and cosy: an old earthenware stove, checkered curtains, impressionist paintings on the walls, candles, and so on.
