The name of this 15 km long glacier refers to the Danish geologist Jens Esmark, a geologist and professor of mineralogy at the University of Oslo. Cruises between Longyearbyen and Barentsburg are usually organized to pass in front of it. It is located on Oscar II Land and opens into Ymerbukta Bay (Ymer Bay) on the north side of Isfjorden. As it is already melting, don't delay too much to get a plane ticket to go there! And why not get a job and stay a few months in Svalbard?
