Luckily, Pioneertown's only hotel has a lot of charm. Both rustic and trendy, the place embraces an appealing Western world, from the traditional wooden architecture to the room decorations to the very photogenic reception area. Built during Hollywood's Golden Age for some of the greatest Western actors, including Gene Autry and John Wayne, the former dressing rooms have been transformed into this hotel - right off the town's main street. In total, the renovation of the establishment took two years. A real favorite!

Arrived late in the pouring rain to a very friendly reception (watch your step for puddles in the dark). Rooms are simple (no TV), although the bathroom was good (but the plumbing was audible from the adjacent room). Coffee and tea was available in the room at the end of the row of rooms.
