LA PORTA

This small Italian restaurant doesn't look like much at first glance. But once you see the plates on the table, you will understand why Bahrainis love this place. Opened by a chef from the south of Italy, the emphasis is on the quality of the products served. The oil is extra virgin, the tomatoes are full of sunshine, the dough of the pizzas is light. La Porta is the ideal place to nibble on some antipasti or a pasta dish after a stroll in the souq of Manama. The pastries are worth the detour, especially the tiramisu, exceptional!
