Haji's restaurant can be hard to find, but it's worth the effort. Located just behind Bab Al Bahrain, on a pedestrian street, right next to the Modern Exchange, Haji's Gahwa offers simple dishes inspired by Bahraini gastronomy. There is no menu but daily specials that change according to the chef's wishes. Ideal for breakfast, with its omelets and salads, or for a late afternoon snack, with grilled lamb or chicken livers Lebanese style. All accompanied by freshly baked bread.
