The best Lebanese specialties in Manama can be found in Badawi, in the popular district of Al Hoora. The restaurant doesn't look like much: a few tables, a basic decoration and the owner smoking his cigarette on the terrace. Nothing flashy, but everything, especially the plate, is authentic. You would think you were in one of those small neighborhood restaurants in Beirut or Tripoli. For a few dinars, you can enjoy grilled meat, vine leaves or hummus. Their stambouliote kebab is a marvel, as well as their muttabal.
