Beautifully restored colonial-style mansion housing the archives and manuscripts of a great Iraqi-Bahraini poet.
This mansion was once the residence of a great Iraqi-Bahraini poet, Ibrahim Al Arrayed. Built in the middle of the 20th century, this intellectual lived here until the 1970s. Beautifully restored and reopened in 2006, the architects have kept the colonial style intact. This poet and writer respected throughout the kingdom participated in the writing of the first constitution of 1972. You will discover in his old house his archives and manuscripts, donated by his son to build a museum in his memory.
