AL GHUS HOUSE
Originally, Al Ghus house ("fishermen") was on the coast. The artificial lands have removed the shoreline from a few meters, but one-no-one-knows the deep link that connects these walls to the sea. Originally composed of three pieces, an inner courtyard and a liwan (a traditional Arab hall whose roof is supported by columns), it had to be the remains of a Nukhidah, the captain's second. If the fishermen were generally living in palm huts, this house is representative of the middle class of the day, with enough parts to accommodate the whole family, store the goods, and receive guests.
