MADINAT 'ISA FLEA MARKET (SOUK AL HARAJ)

The Al Haraj soup is the vibrant heart of Isa Town. We almost think of Paris chips. Very popular with collectors and antique dealers, you will find everything in Al Haraj. Old objects that were in the neighborhood with precious antiques and, of course, modern consumer goods (especially from China, not expensive, but quality sometimes leaves to be desired). Al Haraj is also the market where carpenters and furniture dealers meet. If you have just settled in Bahrain, do not hesitate to take a look at their work, you can find two or three beautiful cases. Unfortunately, part of the souk was ravaged by fire in 2012. The authorities rebuilt a modern building instead, less charming than old original boutiques, but quite functional.
