RIFFA MILITARY MUSEUM
Opened by the Bahrain Ministry of Defense (which explains why all staff are in uniform), this museum reflects the military history of the Kingdom from its foundation to today. In the building imitating the architectural style of the fort de Riffa, exhibitions are installed on two floors and 13 rooms. You will find information in Arabic and English explaining the details of the museum. The most famous hall recalls the gallery of the Battles of Versailles, very well done paintings describe the main victories and battles that took place in the archipelago in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The other rooms exhibit medals and uniforms, the art of the war cavalry or the strong assets of the army, air and naval forces.
