PRASAT BENG MEALEA
Temple located in Stoung, close to picturesque trails inviting you to take a motorcycle ride from Kompong Thom.
After the old Khmer bridge, the Kompong Kdei, on the right is a track leading to the temple of Beng Mealea. A little further on, on the road, we will cross again some vestiges of Angkorian bridges, but there, in the state of ruins. The temple itself is not very interesting except for the occasional monk resting in the shade of a tree, but the surrounding roads - or rather tracks - are picturesque and a good opportunity for a motorcycle ride from Kompong Thom, if you don't mind the dust.
