Très bon accueil, Kamal nous fait découvrir le Maroc avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de savoir. Naïma fait une cuisine absolument délicieuse. Ce qui est sûr c'est qu'on reviendra.

My wife and I often travel, and are always discovering unique places with a high cultural, culinary and human richness. I do not run the risk of making this pleasant address known, because it takes decades before this very conservative village is exposed to mass tourism. Kamal Chaoui has been in his guest house in Bhalil for more than 9 years and is still the only guest house in Bhalil. The Dar Kamal Chaoui guest house in Bhalil is strategically well located, it allows those who want to visit Fez to do it while offering at night the return of this beautiful medina of Fez the calm of a village and the possibility of recharging batteries through a restful sleep and with the holy oxygen of this village of 4 th century without industries or cars around 950 m altitude. Our week in Bhalil was rich and informative, thanks to the involvement of the owner Kamal Chaoui and his sweet cook Naima, Kamal regaled us with his well-sequenced and varied trips, between Trek on the Bhalil Mountains and discovery of the city Judéo-Berbère Sefrou as well as the… visit of the Bhalil village. Kamal will be able to satisfy you, he's discreet and agrees to give you all the information to make the walks alone if you want it, it is also very effective, educated and able to answer all your questions about your itineraries, the nuances and interpretations of the codes of his company, it is always available to accompany you in its excursions and cultural outings. It's a wealth of information, full of good advice, and nothing is impossible for him. we went with him to discover Sefrou the city 2 times millennium. the choice of its circuit is wise, it often takes account of our fatigue and our interest in particular subjects and places. It's the exaltation of the senses in charming company Guide mountain guide of our 28 km walk between Bhalil and Imouzzer, Kamal knows how to combine his deep knowledge of local fauna with his jovial and curious personality, allowing our couple to spend a moment of intense connection with our sumptuous environment, growing and abusing delicious anecdotes of any kind on the places encountered. You will be led to feel, touch and taste sometimes, what Mother Nature will have to offer you. The view and hearing will not be left with this exceptional landscape. Your senses will thus be exalted in charming company in a spirit of culture and relaxation whose association may seem complicated but Kamal has the gift of mastering sometimes a suspicion of humor. I would therefore strongly advise him to call him as a host and mountain guide to ensure a pleasant and good quality stay.

Vam tenir la sort de trobar, quasi per casualitat, a en Kamal una tarda de camí a Bhalil, del qual haviem sentit coses molt maques. Desseguida que ens van trobar ens van oferir pujar a la terrassa de la casa, oferint-nos berenar boníssim i històries curioses sobre la zona, els seus habitants i les seves trajectòries personals. Intercanviar idees amb ells i poder conèixer una petita part del Marroc menys atabalada i menys atapeïda de turistes (per no dir que no hi ha ningú que no sigui d'allà) va ser un dels millors moments del nostre viatge. L'artista i carpinter de la casa ens va mostrar el seu taller ple de reliquies d'anys passats, en una de les coves troglodites que són part de l'encant d'aquest poble. Ens hagués agradatt poder quedar-nos-hi una nit ni que fos, ja que ens va ensenyar la casa amb molta cura de tots els detalls, tots molt pensats i cuidats, amb una decoració encantadora. :)

Kamal è un ospite e una persona eccezionale. Accogliente, appassionato del suo paese e desideroso di condividere storia cultura e con un occhio critico anche problemi del Marocco. Lo definirei un sognatore con i piedi per terra che un piccolo passo alla volta cerca di "creare un'onda" - come dice lui - di cambiamento che possa portare maggior benessere a tutto il paese. Il suo aver vissuto 29 anni in Europa lo rende un ospite ancora più speciale perché riesce a raccontare il suo paese avvicinandolo anche a chi viene da una mentalità diversa ma trasmettendo l'amore e il rispetto profondo per il suo paese. Il suo Dar è molto bello curato e pieno di arredamento locale. La cucina preparata dalle mani di Naima è buonissima ed è parte dell'esperienza. Consiglio anche di affidarsi a Kamal come guida..noi abbiamo fatto la visita del paese con le sue grotte trogloditiche ma organizza un sacco di cose. Vale assolutamente la pena!

On ne pourrait pas espérer mieux pour un séjour au Maroc. A quelques km de Fès, dans un petit village authentique se trouve la chaleureuse maison de Kamal. Tout y est chaleureux d'ailleurs, Naïma et son excellente cuisine, les chambres, la table à laquelle on mange... Tout est fait pour que vous n'ayez qu'une envie: revenir ! C'est la maison dans laquelle on discute, on sourit, on rigole... Celle du bonheur... !

we spent one week Kamal to Bhalil, in a beautiful village in the quiet, close to Fez.
Kamal allowed us to make beautiful meetings and discover its region in a privileged way by offering to us outings varied in its company.
The house in the centre of the village, with views of the surrounding countryside is very welcoming, very comfortable rooms, but we especially appreciated evening meals prepared by Naima, where we passed excellent evenings. Thank you for this unforgettable stay!

La pension était très accueillante avec une belle décoration et chaleureux hôtes et avec la meilleure cuisine que j'ai eu au Maroc ( c'était mon deuxième voyage au Maroc). Le petit déjeuner est servi sur la terrasse avec une vue sur le village et les montagnes. Donc, très pittoresque. Les visites guidées et les excursions différentes que l'hôte vous proposent sont très intéressantes, vous permettant de rencontrer les villageois à travers Kamal, l'hôte, et vous donne un aperçu de ce qu'est la vie du village. Je recommande vivement de séjourner ici.
