New Belgium Brewing Company is a handcrafted brewery that is 100% owned by employees. The main plant, founded in 1991, is located in Fort Collins; a second factory is located on the east coast in Asheville, North Carolina. Today, it is the fourth largest brewery and the eighth largest brewery in the United States. The brand produces the famous Fat Tire, a Belgian-style beer, very popular throughout the country.
