A ghost town to discover through a panoramic walk. In 1883, the camp, known as Ashcroft, was populated by 2,000 people, including a school, sawmills, a small foundry, and 20 saloons. But quickly the city goes bankrupt and only a handful of single men spend their time hunting, fishing and drinking there. The city was built in 1974 to the historic heritage of the Aspen Historical Society and was finally listed as the historic site of the National Register.
