ZOO MONTANA
This is the only zoo in the state. The park, which also includes a botanical garden, is a space of 26 hectares. Inside, you can observe species from all over the world, but the outer part is dedicated to typical animals of the Rocky Mountains and other cold regions above the 45 th parallel. It is actually more habitat than a zoo with natural spaces designed and delimited by ravines, cliffs and other natural barriers. Built on the principle of "bioparc", the zoo also emphasizes the development and development of the flora to create a unique habitat for its different residents. This includes otters, Siberian tigers, rabbit owls, American sheep, grizzly bears, red lynx, pandas and gray wolves. The botanical garden is well thought out. The sensory garden is a half-hectare site that hosts an incredible diversity of exotic and exotic plants designed to stimulate senses (view, sound, smell and touch). Dottie's Garden is an aquatic garden populated by plants capable of adapting to the variable climate of Montana using little water. Finally, Homestead Exhibit is a typical farm of the beginning of the century. The park itself is a pleasant walking place with the Canyon Creek River flowing through its center. As for the price, it is very reasonable for a zoo of that quality.
