CENTRO DE INTERPRETACIÓN DEL BEJUCO
Small interactive museum located in Filandia, with artisans showing the types of vines used to make baskets
A small interactive museum dedicated to bejuco, the vine with which baskets(canastas) have been made for five generations in Filandia. Originally used for agricultural purposes (coffee, fruit...), today it is more decorative. The artisans show us the seven types of vines used and explain their ancestral techniques, considered intangible cultural heritage of Quindío. You can even get to work to make your own work.
